Here are some tips on what to do and where to go next week among events, music, theatre and feasts. All art lovers are going to be spoilt for choice: this weekend the 43rd edition of Pergine Festival will end with a festival full of theatre, dance, exhibits, music and meetings.
incontri. Altopiano del Tesino will be turned into a huge open-air stage thanks to Per Via Buskers Festival, an artistic tribute to all ancient local itinerants. On Friday 20th July at Centrale Fies, the 2018 edition of Drodesera will begin among shows and artistic performances, both theatrical and musical, which will be over on 28th July. Intriguing will be even the circus show organized on 19th July at Pergine Castle with Samovar circus: two brothers who are, at the same time, both fair, jugglers, acrobats and animals. Widespread shows in the whole historic centre of Rovereto as well: on 14th July in the evening there will be the fifth edition of the Summer Festival.
Let’s now talk about music! Worth reporting is the concert of Suzanne Vega on 17th July at 21 P.M. on the beach Riviera on Caldonazzo Lake. You are going to find great music at Arco’s Climbing Stadium as well, with the performances of Gemitaiz on the 17th of July and of
Caparezza on the 18th. On Saturday the 14th of July at 9:00 p.m. the Contrada Larga festival is going to come back to Trento in the Crispi school’s courtyard. On Monday the 16th, same place, same time, Söndörgő is going to perform a concert for the Itinerari Folk
festival. Contrada Larga is going to come back on the 18th of July as well with the Haydn Orchestra, while Itinerari Folk will return on the 20th with the group The Friel Sisters.
The Sounds of the Dolomites festival is coming back too on the 17th of July at midday, in the Brenta Dolomites at the Asciutto Lake, with the Kremerata Baltica orchestra. They are going to perform in a trio version as well, together with Mario Brunello and Andrei Pushkarev, on the 19th of July at the Nero Lake of Pinzolo. The whole group is then going to play on the 20th of July at the Tuckett refuge.
And finally the castles of Trentino that are hosting numerous events: every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. some suggestive historical
reenactments are going to be staged in the Beseno Castle. In the Thun Castle, on the 14th and 15th of July you’ll get to know an early 16-century court, while on the 19th of July the Arco Castle is going to host a special dinner with a view on the Garda Lake.
